Trumpeter Swans on their landing approach in the fields of the Fraser Valley. These are the largest North American birds and have a wingspan of up to 10 feet! Large flocks migrate to the area during the winter and feed on the remains of corn fields. There distinctive low trumpeting calls during flight make them easy to spot.
